How T Cells Recognize Viruses

T cells use the T cell receptor along with one of two co-receptors to recognize parts of viral proteins when they are displayed on the surface of an infected cell or an antigen-presenting immune cell in the context of MHC I or MHC II. This video describes how these two pathways are used to create multiple parts of a virus that can be recognized by T cells to mount an adaptive immune response.
